Week 31 - Preparing Nursery Continues

With week 31 here, and not long to go, it is satisfying to finally get some colour into the nursery... even if it is white!

And while you would normally see a five o'clock shadow on my face, we soon realised at 5pm on Sunday that we had made a very good decision to suede the walls (kind of like keeping shaving cream on my face to hide the stubble!)

Big ups to the lovely lady at bunnings who helped us with our painting purchases.

Ante-natal Begins....

We went to our first ante-natal class tonight 7-9pm with the Mana Parenting Centre. There were eight other couples there, and contrary to what we believed of a stereotypical demographic for this area, we were with couples of a similar age bracket.

Group activities included "Name that bit" and "Is it true or false?" on different pregnancy tips.

Ante-natal is the way to go, because if you think you know everything, it's the social environment that brings out the tid-bits of information from shared experiences that will give you more to think about.

What are they and who did it happen to.... cant tell! because what goes on tour stays on tour.

Week 30!!

The home stretch. Three quarters of the way through the theoretical 40-week run!

What a life experience this has been, and baby isn't even here yet!!
The idea has been totally consuming 2006, with us embracing and loving the (plan and simple) fact we are going to be parents!

This bLog lacks volume

if your wondering why this blog is text at the moment, you'll be pleased to know it's not my own doing (despite me being plain and full of whitespace at times)
this blog ain't holdin up to it's end of the bargain, and ... with a little bit of sheila testing... was found to be crashing on more than my computer...

so if you see this blog full of many pictures and bright converse... that means i've fixed it... and i'm a looney toon for keeping this post

if not... well.... there you go.

oh yeah, week 29 is going fine by the way... because in the whole spectrum of things, that it numero uno at the moment. we've just finished the plastering of b2 aka the nursery... the next 3 weeks is dedicated to sanding sealing and painting. choice one ouw! hopefully i can post some more piccies up for youse fullas, eh?
